GPSR check: does your product listing show the safety details?
Since 13 December 2024, every online offer of a consumer product in the EU must show who made it, who is responsible for it in the EU, how to identify it and its warnings. Enter one product page and we read its HTML, or fill in the form below to create the block.
This applies to physical consumer products, including handmade items. Digital files (for example e-books or printable downloads) are not covered.
1. Check one product page
Checking… this can take up to 10 seconds.
2. Create the safety block for your listing
The rule behind the check
Article 19 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR) lists what an online offer must show: the manufacturer's name, postal and electronic address; if the manufacturer is not in the EU, the same details of the responsible person in the EU; information to identify the product, including a picture, its type and any other identifier; and any warning or safety information in a language easily understood by consumers.
